Auburn Elementary 3rd-6th grade students (and some 1st-2nd students) participate in a reading program called Accelerated Reader. This program is designed to help students improve their reading comprehension, by reading books at an appropriate reading level ("reading range" or "reading zone"). Contact your child's teacher for more information about how it is used in his or her classroom. We thank the PTO and popcorn purchasers for helping fund this program!

??How do I print just the books for my child's level??
(You might want to print these directions!)

1. Click on the By Reading Level link above.
2. On the page with all the titles, scroll down until you see the first title in their range.
3. Click with your mouse in front of the test number of the first title.
4. Hold down the mouse button, and click and drag down and to the right until you have highlighted all the books in his/her range.
5. Somewhere on the menu bar of your browser, you should see Edit. Click on Edit, then click on Copy.
6. Now minimize (click the "minus" sign in the corner of the screen, by the "x") the Internet window and open up a word processing program (like Microsoft Word or Works).
8. Click on Edit, then Paste.
9. The text that you highlighted, should appear on the document, although the column formatting will probably be a little off.
10. Click on File and Print to print the document.
