BASI"K"S

The Basic Application Software Integrating Keyboarding Skills (BASI"K"S) program for elementary students in grades 4-6 is designed to develop cross-curriculum, interdisciplinary skills used to enhance subjects taught in the regular classroom. These skills are essential for today's students to function effectively in our highly technological society.

By the time they leave 6th grade, our students type an average of 25 WPM. However, our focus in the elementary grades is on techniqe and accuracy, not speed. We want the students to learn proper habits first; speed will come with practice!
